"Dinner with Leatherface" The Texas Chainsaw Massacre documentary

Texas Chainsaw Massacre changed the course of the horror genre as a whole. Without The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we wouldn’t have most of the horror movies we have today. Because of this, there is a documentary coming out on September 21 2021 that has sort of flown under the radar. It stars Gunner Hansen ( the original Leatherface), Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead series), and Dan Yeager (Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw 3D). This documentary is a deep dive into what their experiences were like playing the character and shooting their respective films. I think we need to do more documentaries like this about all kinds of horror movies and icons. These are the types of things that we should preserve and create so the generations after us will understand exactly what made these people so important to the horror genre. Especially considering just how new movies as a whole really are. These people and many other actors will be looked at as some of the pioneers of the horror genre. I’m hoping that this documentary will spark other documentaries that will be preserved for the future lovers of horror to know what started it all.
