Halloween ends is the best halloween from the new trilogy.

I want to jump on this bandwagon ten years before the inevitable “Halloween Ends are the best film of the Blumhouse sequels.” Halloween Ends does everything I’ve ever wanted in a Halloween movie and more by actually making michael myers a hidden figure rather than him just being right smack out in the open again and that as well as the fact that Michael Myers is only the real antagonist for the last half of the film is truly what makes this film so great. I love all the scenes with Corey Cunningham and how that works and fits into the story of Michael Myers as a whole. What eventually happens to him I am saddened and would have loved a sequel that just focuses purely on Corey and what he did after the ending of Halloween ends but honestly maybe one day.


Halloween ends gave us some of the gnarliest gore in any Halloween movie. Made michael myers scary again and did the one thing I think none of us expected, They did it. Halloween ended. Michael Myers dies at the end of this film. The fact they killed him made me so happy Only because of the inside baseball of it all where the contracts the h20 producers signed said they could not kill Michael, I just assumed that it was the same for the Blumhouse trilogy but I suppose it wasn’t which makes me very happy. I think and do believe that Halloween ends by basically creating a genre indie film inside a series that has all the traditions of ancient Greece and deciding to snap the traditions in two instead of just simply following those traditions as a whole.


I want to mention one thing quick, since this is the first post back in a little bit I don’t know how often or what I’ll be posting here. Honestly, It will be anything horror movie related I would like to discuss as I am writing the larger podcast episodes which means yes I may post the transcriptions for the episode here on this website for those of you who are hard of hearing can still appreciate the podcast for what it is without having to do any extra steps yourself.
