Halloween kills is shaping up to be an incredibly interesting movie. The way that the trailers are pertaining to the plotline and some of the little things we may be seeing in this movie from rumors and advanced screenings are incredibly promising. I’m optimistic about the entirety of this movie and I’m hoping they do a good job with bringing Michael Myers back to the big screen. The film includes the three generations of Strodes, Sheriff Bracket, Marion Chambers, and a few other characters. I’m incredibly excited and hopeful for what this movie has to offer us. I am mildly worried though that this movie is going to suffer from being in the middle of a trilogy like it is. I’m fairly certain that Michael and Laurie will survive until at least Halloween ends. That means that the stakes in this movie are really really low. This bothers me but honestly, there isn’t anything that anyone can do about that. However, if Laurie did end up getting killed in this movie I think I'm not the only one who would be incredibly surprised by it. However, it is Blumhouse and they’re known for being crazy like this. One more thing that I would like to mention is that Blumhouse's rights to the Halloween franchise end after Halloween Ends. They aren't sure if the rights will continue but it’s possible that if they’re allowed to do more movies that they’ll go through things such as Halloween Three Season of the Witch and remake and improve them. They also are considering going the anthology series route or doing one of the movies where the shape comes back to Haddonfield under different circumstances or tries to tie up old timelines to make them better. Whatever they decide to do, I'm on board but until then: Thank you for reading, follow my Twitter, Instagram, and twitch @slashithorror and remember, Treat every day like it’s Halloween.
